The Impossible Game is a pure indie game that Destructoid called it “Insanely addictive”, it quickly found its audience and successfully moved from one platform to another. The Impossible Game is now on the PlayStation Store as a minis, so it can be enjoyed by PSP & PS3 players.
Its addictiveness and the fact that it threatens the sanity of anyone who comes near it are what have kept the game alive . The Impossible Game is a rhythm-based game. You control an orange square and you have to jump your way through a level full of obstacles like spikes and gaps. The game’s soundtrack helps you keep the rhythm. Your skill and the music are all you need, no complicated controls for this game all you need is one button,
Why is it “impossible”? It is unforgiving. A single mistake puts you back to the beginning of the level. It may take hundreds of attempts, several rage attacks and maybe even your PS3 or PSP flying out of the window before you complete a level. But none of that will matter, because once you start, you won’t be able to put it down. This game will irritate you and offend you and you won’t stop until you have meted out its pay back.
If you are looking for a less impossible experience though, you can switch to a Practice Mode at any time. This mode lets you place flags (checkpoints) and if you fail, you get right back to the last placed flag. This helps you practice the track and also regain your sanity
The Minis version of The Impossible Game contains all the levels from lots of other versions and level packs, plus an exclusive level Phazd that you won’t find anywhere else this makes it the best of them all. There are many awards to unlock and the game also keeps record of you progress (so you know just how many times you died)
