Late one night around 12 am fed up of tossing and turning in bed I woke up and switched on the telly. Surfing through the channels found a ManU vs Chelsea match about to kick off! Couldn't believe my luck!
The match though only for 90 mins felt like it went on and on. Both teams seemed to be playing at their best nither team seeming to get the ball through the goal post. But then out of nowhere the ball flew through the Chelsea defenders feet and into the goal! ManU fans were on their feet dancing and singing 99 Bottles of beer on the wall and going crazy. Soon it was half time with the score standing at ManU 1 Chelsea 0.
After what seemed to me like the longest 20 mins ever the teams ran back onto the field and all the spectators who had gone to get a bite and a beer made their way back to their seats. The second half started and around 70 mins into the game Chelsea managed to score an equalizer. Now it was the Chelsea fans who were shouting and screaming in delight.
But ManU didn't just hold any thing back they tried and tried till finally they managed to get a break through with just 2 mins left. The one to score the goal was non other than Robin Van Persie Me and the ManU fans were elated we had got what we were there to see! The final whistle was blown few mins later with ManU 2 Chelsea 1. The teams could be seen shanking hands with each other and they walked off the ground to great cheer from the crowds.
